Blaise Pascal, was a French philosopher, mathematician and theologian.  His genius interpretations of natural science, through observations and experiments, have survived centuries.  In addition, his theological work was born from the simple assessment of the human spiritual need for the divine.  This pragmatic approach is well illustrated in the philosophical discussion surrounding Pascal’s Wager.  Pascal also believed the human choices are determined by the dominant desires of individuals.  Pascal’s life work has many direct applications for today’s leaders in health care and academics.  His legacy of genius encompasses both the hard sciences and the softer nature of man.
